Data Deletion — PotatoPlayer
Last updated: July 20, 2026
PotatoPlayer does not require an account, login, name, email, or phone number, so there is no personal profile tied to your identity. The limited data that does exist can be deleted as described below.
1 Advertising ID (Google AdMob)
You control this directly on your device. Go to Settings → Google → Ads and choose “Reset advertising ID” or “Delete advertising ID,” and opt out of ad personalization. In the EEA, UK, or Switzerland you can also change your choice through the in-app consent prompt.
2 Anonymous usage analytics (our server)
We record anonymous usage events (screen, feature, ad, and download names plus the app version) together with your IP address and a timestamp. This data is deleted automatically on a rolling schedule:
- Raw usage events — removed within 90 days.
- Aggregated daily counts — removed within about 13 months.
To request earlier deletion, email us (below) and we will remove the associated records.
3 In-app reports (bug / feature / error)
If you submitted a bug report, feature request, or error report from inside the app, email us the approximate date and details and we will delete it.
4 Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics
Aggregated analytics and crash diagnostics are processed by Google on our behalf. Email us and we will action the deletion request through Google’s tools.
